Here we go again. It’s June 28 and the news yesterday was filled with another cyber-attack with ransomware demanding users to pay up or lose all of your data. Although primarily confined to Europe, as of this morning the attack had reached parts of the Asia-Pacific region and even a few isolated cases in the United States.
The good news is, there’s no bad news. Even though this particular attack is as nasty as the WannaCry of a few weeks back, and will inevitably cause serious problems for some users around the world, it doesn’t appear to be quite as widespread.
